He was predeceased by: his parents, Garfield Chase and Rachel Chase (Ferguson); and his siblings, Faye Giggie, Anne Foster and Donald Chase.

He is survived by: his children, Karen Chase of Perth-Andover, NB and Calvin Chase of Perth-Andover, NB; his brothers, James Chase of Florenceville-Bristol, NB, Edward Chase (Annabel) of Florenceville-Bristol, NB and Ronald Chase of Centreville, NB; his grandchildren, Dillon Chase, Calvin Chase Jr., Victoria Chase and Quentin Chase; and his great grandchild Kash Chase.
