She was predeceased by: her parents, Barbara Briggs (Tyrrell) and James Briggs (Henry); her husband Gordon W. Birnie; and her siblings, Phyllis Inman, Doris Yeomans, Earl Briggs, Merle Briggs, Donald Bell and Jack Bell.
She is survived by: her daughter Connie Flynn (Dan) of Island View, NB; and her grandsons, Connor Flynn of Chicago, IL and Callum Flynn of Island View. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
