He was predeceased by: his wife Diana Forward (MacDonald); his parents, James Forward and Lucy Forward (Ogden); and his great grandchild Laura. He is survived by: his children, Kenny Forward of London, ON, Tony Forward of Sussex, Philip Forward (Irma) of Ottawa, ON, Linda Forward (Grant Hughes) of Brandon, MB and Sandra Forward (Rodney) of London, ON; his stepson Mike Hicks of Sussex; his grandchildren, Joseph Smit, Jason Forward, Cassy Forward, Sammy Derry, MacKenzie Hughes, Bradley Hicks and Nicholas Hicks (Chelsey); his great grandchildren, Braydon Smit, Luke, Halle and Leah Hicks; and his siblings, Alex Forward (Georgie) of Ladysmith, BC and Thelma Gorham of Douglas, MB. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
