He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Thorne and Noami Thorne (Hoar); his son Robin Thorne; his grandson Chad Thorne; and his siblings, Della Perry, Lois Thorne, Velma Keith, Doris Eagles, Hilda Walker and Clinton Thorne.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Reeder (Jim) of Riverview, Lisa Lewis (Brad) of Petitcodiac and Donald (Susan); his daughter-in-law Amy Thorne of Havelock; the mother of his children Mary D. Thorne; and his sister Helen Corey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
