Ruth Alward Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Alward (Petitcodiac, New Brunswick), born in Saint John, New Brunswick, who passed away on November 22, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Steeves and Florence Steeves (Lounsbury); her husband Royce Alward; and her siblings, Edna Damon, Donna Carson, Dean and Chester Steeves.

She is survived by: her children, Herb (Mathieu), Sharon Gaudet (Brian), Eleanor McVicar (Glen), Leslie Tingley, Jim (Corry), Sheldon (Angela) and Heather Demont (Martin); her sisters, Martha Carson and Brenda Wood; and her sister-in-law Jennie Steeves. She is also survived by grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren.
