He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Weir and Phyllis Weir (Simpson); his brothers, Craig and Bruce; and his in-laws, John and June Cruickshank.
He is survived by: his wife Kathryn (Cruickshank); his children, Matthew, Melanie Drost (Craig) and Misty-Dawn Welborn (Jared); his grandchildren, John, Logan, Caden, Benjamin and Elianna; and his siblings, Paulet Smith (Earlin), Kim Weir (Albert), Lana Weir, Janice Kunze (Hartmut), Sunday Campbell (late Gary), Bonnie Weir (late Kevin), Lisa Grace (Mike) and Jeff (late Kim). He is also survived by family, the Cruickshank's and uncles, aunt, nieces and nephews and cousins.
