He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Sr. Jacob and Clara Jacob (Melanson); his daughter Bonnie Jacob; and his siblings, Gisèle (late Edmond), Patsy Jacob, Delcia Gaudet, Romuald, Ovila, Philip (Joe) and Guy.

He is survived by: his siblings, Georgette Jacob of Amherst, NS, Linda Jacob of Trois-Ruisseaux, Shirley Vienneau (Laurie) of Saint-André-LeBlanc and Normand of Petit-Cap; and his siblings-in-law, Claude Gaudet of Bas-Cap and Laura Jacob of Petit-Cap.
