He is survived by: his wife Roberta DeMerchant (Campbell); and his children, Lois Buckingham (Laurel) of Moncton, NB, Barbara Lockhart (Eugene) of Woodstock, NB, Judith Dixon (Nathan) of Carlingford, NB and Donald DeMerchant (Jayne) of Rothesay, NB. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
