She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Merritt and Cora Merritt (Stiles); her husband Bernard Murphy; and her brothers, Donald, Fred and George Chown.
She is survived by: her son Brian Murphy (Barbie) of Craigs Flat, NB; her grandchildren, Kyla Russell, Braydon Murphy and Cora Lee Vickers; her great grandchildren, Noah Russell, Daniel Russell, Storm Russell and Lachlan Melin; and her siblings, June Alward of Perth-Andover, NB, Lee Merritt (Hilda) of Fredericton Junction, NB, Wayne Merritt of Perth-Andover, NB, Winston Merritt (Noella) of New Denmark, NB and Ralph Merritt of New Denmark, NB. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
