She was predeceased by: her father Haley Goodine; and her sister-in-law Wanda Goodine. She is survived by: her mother Carolyn Goodine of Perth Andover; and her brothers, Gerald Goodine (Blair Matheson) of Fredericton, Daniel Goodine of Perth Andover and Kenneth Goodine (Patty) of Dauphin, MB. She is also survived by nephews, dear friends, cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McAdam's Funeral Home (160 York St, Fredericton, NB E3B3N7). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Smythe Street Church (913 Smythe St, Fredericton, NB E3B3G8).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to either a bursary established in Ruth's honour, which will support nursing students in need at the University of New Brunswick (please direct donations to the Ruth Goodine Amos Memorial Nursing Bursary online at unb.ca/memorialgift or telephoned to 506-447-3122), or to Hospice House Fredericton.
