He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Lockhart and Margaret Lockhart (Browning); his siblings, Alice Dineen and Joseph Lockhart; his granddaughter Bella Lockhart; his brother-in-law Stephen Longstaff; his brother Robert; his sister-in-law Charlotte Goodale; and his brother Joe.

He is survived by: his wife Beatrice Lockhart (Brayson); his children, Barbara Lockhart of Fredericton, NB, Peter Lockhart (Kim) of Fredericton, NB, Jeffrey Lockhart (Tracy) of Fredericton, NB and Wesley Lockhart (Lisa) of Scotland; his siblings, Carol Andersen (Ray) of Bairdsville, NB, Lee Longstaff of Bairdsville, NB and Daniel Lockhart (Joan) of Woodstock, NB.; and his grandchildren, Jonah, Dannika, Amelia, Logan, Cameron, Ruby and Sylvie. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren.
