She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry McAllister and Lena McAllister (Goodine); her husband Donald Smith; and her brother Ellery McAllister. She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Demmings (Kerry) of Aroostook, NB, Janetta Barclay (Malcolm) of Oak Bay, NB and Barbara Bowmaster (Dale) of Odell, NB; and her siblings, Myrtle Chambers of Manchester, CT, Dorothy Smithkey of Perth-Andover, NB, Kenneth McAllister (Cecelia) of Moncton, NB, Arnold McAllister (Margaret) of Lethbridge, AB and Aubrey McAllister of Port Hardy, BC. She is also survived by five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Southern Victoria Cancer Assistance Fund or to the Arthurette Baptist Cemetery would be appreciated by the family.
