He was predeceased by: his former wife Nancy McCauley (Lockhart); his son Mark William Menzies McCauley; his siblings, Sheila, Lois McCauley and Thomas "Tim" McCauley; and his parents, Menzies McCauley and Ethel McCauley.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Brooks; his children, Neil McCauley (Anne) of Calgary, AB and Kim Tompkins (Warren) of Hampton, NB; his grandchildren, Baillie Tompkins, Brendan McCauley, Kieran Tompkins, Lindsay McCauley and Torin McCauley; his daughter-in-law Nancy J. McCauley (late Mark McCauley) of Florenceville-Bristol, NB; his sister-in-law Barbara Black (Mariner) of Sackville, NB.; his stepchildren, Andrea (Clarke) of Dartmouth, NS and Mario of Bedford, NS; and his stepgrandchildren, Evan and Emily.
