He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Alward and Beatrice Alward (King); and his sister Shirley Fraser. He is survived by: his wife June Alward (Merritt); and his children, Tina Delaney (Brian) of Halifax, NS, Melanie Alward of London, ON, Christopher Alward (Julia) of Fredericton, NB and Terrance Alward (Kim) of London, ON. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
