She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Pelkey and Celia Pelkey (Smith); her husband Vaughn Pelkey; and her siblings, Lois Morrell, Norma Taylor, Arnold and Carl Pelkey.
She is survived by: her children, Eileen Pirkl of Waterloo, ON, Wayne Pelkey (Colleen) of Summerville, SC and Hugh John Pelkey of Perth-Andover, NB; and her sisters, Avis DeMerchant of Aroostook, NB, Phyllis Janosik (Wayne) of Royse City, TX, Marlene Tompkins of Perth-Andover, NB and Patricia Watson of Perth-Andover, NB.. She is also survived by her five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
