It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenn DeMerchant of Perth-Andover, New Brunswick, who passed away on September 17, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest DeMerchant and Olive DeMerchant (Pimlott); his wife Elaine DeMerchant; his stepchildren, Douglas Smith, Graydon Smith and Laura DeRoin; and his siblings, Dorothy DeWitt (Perry), Richard DeMerchant (Grace), Lewis DeMerchant, Earl DeMerchant, Archie DeMerchant (Eva), Nimrod DeMerchant (Laura), Ronald DeMerchant Hazel DeMerchant, Neola Brooks and Marita Martin (Henry).
He is survived by: his daughters, Shelly Hitchcock of Musquash, NB and Sheila Stadnyk (Wayne) of Regina, SK; his stepdaughter Eleanor Fraser (John) of Fort Fairfield, ME; his brother Donald DeMerchant (Anita) of Hartland, NB; and his grandchildren, Mitchell, Clay, Ben, Todd, April, Kim, Kelly, Jaye, Temple, Cassie, Tracey and Susan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.
