Elaine Hatheway Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 18, 2020, Elaine Hatheway (Perth-Andover, New Brunswick) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mann Rattray and Lila Rattray (Pirie); her husband Rev. Perley Hatheway; her daughter Gail Hatheway; her son-in-law Paul Long; her children, Wayne Hatheway (Joyce) of Halifax, Sheila Long of Perth-Andover and Violet Roussel (Serge) of Perth-Andover; and her sister-in-law Geraldine Rattray of Clyde, NY.. She was also cherished by 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, a private graveside service will be held in River de Chute Cemetery. A more formal service will be held once the Covid-19 restrictions have been lifted.

For those who wish, memorial donations to the Making a Difference Food Bank or to the River de Chute Cemetery would be appreciated by the family.
