Donald Nye Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Nye of Perth-Andover, New Brunswick, born in Gordonsville, New Brunswick, who passed away on January 14, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hanford Nye and Elizabeth Nye (Giggie); his former wife Flora (Inman); his siblings, Madeline Burlock, Jean Clark, Eldon, Harold, Warren and Fred; and also Andrew Hanson.
He is survived by: his children, Malcolm (Yvonne), Rayma (Jamie Price) and Jason (Chanda); his grandchildren, Rebekah, Tomi, Samuel, Benjamin, Jacob, Gracie, Matthew, Elise and Andrew; his friend Kay Hanson; and also, John Hanson (Erica), Peter Hanson (Chauna), David Hanson (Cindy) and Ruth Francis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
During COVID, Donald built a diorama of a log yard representing where he spent his winters in northern Maine.
