He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Smith and Grace Smith (Inman); his wife Joyce Smith (Lovely); and his siblings, Gertrude Mills, Ruth Seeley, Mary McLean, Donald, Arthur, Gerald, Paul and Gene Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Rose Hamilton of Perth-Andover, NB, Tammy Bourgoin (Robert) of Arthurette, NB, Gerald Smith (Amy) and Daren Smith (Cindy) of Hartland, NB; his sister Dorothy (Nightingale); and his sister-in-law Bonnie Smith. He is also survived by grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and many, friends.
