He was predeceased by: his parents, Bailey Jackson and Josephine Jackson (DeWitt); his former wife Mary Jackson (Patterson); his stepdaughter Sharon McCarthy; and his siblings, Jacqueline Smith, Douglas Jackson, John Jackson, James Jackson and Gerald Jackson.

He is survived by: his wife Clara Jackson (Inman); his children, Linda Hamilton of Calgary, AB, Bill Jackson (Kathy) of Tilley, NB and Michael Jackson of Perth-Andover, NB; his stepchildren, Kimberley Collicott (Ken) of Toronto, ON, Larry Ruff (Christie) of Quispamsis, NB and Michael Ruff (Lanette); and his sister-in-law Joyce Jackson of Aroostook, NB. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
