She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph E. Chevarie and Alice Chevarie (Allain); her husband Laurie Chevarie; her grandson Robert; and her siblings, Lydia, Israel, Armand, Odilas, Leonard, Alyre, Vincent, Theodore and Joseph.

She is survived by: her children, Yvette Testa (Albert) of St. Andrew, Alida Richard (André) of Penobsquis, Lydia Gibbons (Rick) of Black's Harbour, Jeannine Doiron (Donald) of Black's Harbour, Mary Anne Chevarie (Mark) of Beaver Harbour, Diane Cormier (Gerald) of Black's Harbour, Yvon Chevarie (Yvonne) of Black's Harbour, Emile Chevarie (Marie) of St. Charles, Gerald Chevarie of Passekeag, Peter Chevarie (Daisy) of Moncton and Norman Chevarie of Hampton; her sisters, Roseanna Blanchard (late Fidéle) of Quispamsis, Yvonne LaPointe (Normand) of Quebec and Mary Anne Bastarache (Fred) of Pennfield; her sisters-in-law, Doris Chevarie of Sackville and Merrill Chevarie of Saint John; and her daughter-in-law Debbie Chevarie of Ottawa. She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.
