He is survived by: his parent Beverly Hoyt; his sons, Joey Hoyt (Melanie), Jason Hoyt (Josée) and Jesse Hoyt (Laura); his grandchildren, Dylan and Sydney; his siblings, Joselyn McCoy, Jan Melong (Doug), Adam Hoyt, Paul Hoyt (Kim), Ron Melong and Stephen Melong; and his stepmother Alice Melong.
