It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Gertrude Leighton (Pennfield, New Brunswick), born in Oromocto, New Brunswick, who passed away on January 25, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Clarence Elmer Leighton; her parents, Mark Ellis and Gertrude Ellis (Sparks); her children, Stephen Leighton (Carol) of Regina, Donna Shanks of Fredericton and Susan Light of Miramichi; and her close friends, Millicent McKay (Lester) of Pennfield and Mona McDougall of Oromocto. She was also cherished by five grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins.
