It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Edward Hoyt (Pennfield, New Brunswick), born in L'Etete, New Brunswick, who passed away on February 25, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward V. Hoyt and Frances Hoyt (Andrews); his siblings, Wade Hoyt and Faye Verrier (Gaston); and his parents-in-law, Darrell and Betty Palk.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Hoyt (Palk); his sons, Keith Hoyt (Sherri) of Pennfield, NB and Daniel Hoyt (Leahanne Morrison) of Markdale, ON; his grandchildren, Kaylie Spencer (Devon), Keigan and Cole Hoyt of Pennfield, NB; his great grandchildren, Nash and Nora Spencer; his siblings, Sandra LeBlanc and Dale Hoyt Sr. of St. George, NB; his brothers-in-law, Charlie "Sonny" Palk, Kenny Palk (Lindi), Sheldon Palk (Charlotte) and Ron Palk (Diane); and his nephew Dale Hoyt Jr. (Evelyn). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In Doug's memory, donations to Bobby's Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
