He was predeceased by: his parents, Sgt. Craig and Maureen Gillam; his uncle Joe; and his aunt Mary Gillam. He is survived by: his fiancée Chantelle Tibbets; his sister Gale Gillam (Matt); his grandparents, Pius, Cecilia Gale and Rita Gillam; his nieces and nephews, Aleigha, Carly, Maddison, Kaleigh, Sierra, Summer, Bella, Ryan and William; his parents-in-law, Elaine and Billy Tibbets; his pet Gus; and also, Stevon and Poohy. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Stephen's memory can be made to the Sgt.Craig.

The organization was started by a former tow truck driver who was hit and run while working and almost died. All of the dogs who come to the rescue receive names of tow truck drivers who were killed on duty. My dog’s name is Stevie and his adoption was dedicated to Stephen Craig Gillam.
