It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Gillis (Oromocto, New Brunswick), who passed away on April 11, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Shirley Ann may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Sypher and Marion Sypher (Toner); and her husband Earle Gillis. She is survived by: her children, John Gillis (Cecile) and Joanne Greenough of Oromocto, NB; and her sister Barbara Forbes. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
