Nelson Ronald Munn Obituary
It is with deep sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Nelson Ronald Munn on August 1, 2022 at the age of 71. Born on November 3, 1950, he was the son of the late Perry Charles and Elva Blanche (Estey) Munn. He will be forever loved and missed by his wife, Marlene.
He will be lovingly remembered by his two daughters, Angela Poirier (Marc) and Sandra Dunn (Michael) and Marlene's children, Wendy Profit (Darren), David Profit (Kirsty), and Billy Profit. He will be forever remembered and loved by his grandchildren, Mitchell Poirier, Tyson Taylor, Janna Profit (Connor), Shane Hughes, Shelby Hughes (Leigh), Julia Palmer (Justin), Little David Profit, and great-grandson Cohen Dyment. Nelson will also be remembered by his loving sisters, Marie Morton (James), Dolly McCoy (Leroy), Ruthie Price (Wavell); brothers Maurice Munn (Barb), Joseph Munn (Helen); and sister-in-law, Jeanette Munn (Late Sandy); Marlene's family, Leonard Spencer (Gladys), Joseph Spencer, Earl Wayne Spencer (Pat), Roger Spencer (Candy), Brian Spencer (Joann), Carolann Spencer, Inez Spencer, and Marylynn Spencer; as well as his many nieces, nephews, and cousins from his family and the many friends he met while working with the Department of Education as a School Bus Driver.
In addition to his parents, Nelson was predeceased by his brother Alexander "Sandy" Munn, and sisters Nellie Albright (Clifford) and Alice Yerxa (the late Ernest).
Nelson was a kind, gentle, and caring person, and a friend to all he met.
A special thank you to Dr. Kristen Kuklua, and the nurses and staff of the NB Extra Mural Program, who treated Nelson with so much kindness.
In accordance with Nelson's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service at this time. His final arrangements have been entrusted to Oromocto Funeral Home.
Donations in his memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Alzheimer's Association, or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
