She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred McCarthy of Ludlow and Gladys McCarthy (Price) of Priceville, NB.; her husband Maxwell Scott Granter; her siblings, Earl "Duke" Price, Jim McCarthy, Myrtle Palmer (Percy) and Mary Munn (Hedley); and her parents-in-law, James and Caroline Granter.
She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Borthwick (Alex), Jim (Sally Shepard), Michael (Robert Doiron) and Tim (Penny); her grandchildren, Gregory Payne, Melissa Payne (Cody Koivunen), Tyler Granter (Julia) and Courtney Granter (Mitchell Donohue); and her siblings-in-law, Nancy McCarthy and Harvey Granter. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
Owing to allergies, the family, respectfully, requests no flowers. For those who wish, donations in Margaret's memory may be made to the Burton Lions Club, Oromocto Legion Branch #93, or the charity of the donor's choice.
