Loretta Washburn Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loretta Washburn (Oromocto, New Brunswick), who passed away on November 18, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Loretta Washburn to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Goodine and Mary Goodine; her husband LeRoy; her siblings, Dr. Raymond Goodine, Thelma Monahan, Doris Ryan (Jack), Phyllis Mitton (Earl) and Barb Rowan (Bill); her siblings-in-law, Doreen Goodine, Diane Jensen, Tom (Sharon) and Irl Washburn; and also, Tom and Dorothy Washburn.

She is survived by: her children, Michael (Kathy) of Fredericton, Lori (Brad) of Fredericton, Derek (Linda) of Fredericton, Teri VanIderstine (Jim) of Maquapit Lake and Patrick of Ribeirão Preto, Brazil.; her grandchildren, Heather Crawford (Rory), Jayme (Nate), Thompson, Mackenzie (Allie), Matthew, Mike (Lauren), Andrew Washburn and Ryan Van Iderstine; her great grandchild Haylee Washburn; her brother Ron Goodine; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Washburn and Allan Washburn (Karen).

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Oromocto Funeral Home (108 Winnebago St, Oromocto, NB E2V1C7). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (25 Loisville St, Oromocto, NB E2V1B9).

In lieu of flowers, donations in Loretta's memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society or to the LeRoy Washburn Memorial Scholarship Fund at St. Thomas University.
