It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Gould Ackerson (Oromocto, New Brunswick), who passed away on July 2, 2019, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kimball and Hazel Kimball (Gould); her husband Borden; the father of her children George Armstrong; her son John; and her siblings, Geraldine and Leslie.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joyce Shanks (Fred), Elizabeth Murray (Ron), Sharon Calder (Terry Mersereau) and Margaret Armstrong (Bev Boone); and her friend Donna Hickey. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson, 10 step children.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations to the CNIB or the New Brunswick branch of the CCB.
