Josephine Lorraine Gillies Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 3, 2022, at the age of 89, Josephine Lorraine Gillies (Oromocto, New Brunswick), born in Fredericton, New Brunswick passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Barrett and Sarah Barrett; her husband Gerald Vernon Gillies; her son Andrew; and her siblings, William Barrett and Margorie MacAlister.
She is survived by: her children, Roger (Dianna), Cindy (Jack) and Peter; her grandchildren, Jeff (Gillian), Curt (Kelsey), Sarah (Ryan), Ryan, Ashley and Fallon; and her siblings, Geraldine Dewar, Joyce Matthews, Barbara Bird and Stanley Barrett. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
To honour Josephine's memory, the family would appreciate donations be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
