The passing of Jean-Luc Ladouceur (Oromocto, New Brunswick) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on December 18, 2024 at the age of 86. He was predeceased by: his mother Marie Blanche Ladouceur; his wife Helen; his stepson Angus Grant; and his brother Alain Ladouceur (Yvette). He is survived by: his father Charles Omer; his children, Normand and Valerie of Quebec City, Quebec; his stepchildren, Virginia Grant (Lenny) of Burton, NB, Kenneth Grant of Halifax and Gary Grant (Theresa) of Lincoln; his siblings, Louise Ladouceur (Gilbert) of L'Assomption, QC, Jean-Marc Ladouceur (Jeanne-Mance) of St. Eustache, QC and Serge Ladouceur (Claudette) of Saint-Barthelemy, QC; and his brother-in-law Charles Patrick Duprey of Cape Breton, NS. He is also survived by his grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Oromocto Funeral Home (108 Winnebago St, Oromocto, NB E2V1C7). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the St. Vincent de Paul Cathlic Church (25 Loisville St, Oromocto, NB E2V1B9).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Poppy Fund of the Oromocto Branch #93 Royal Canadian Legion, Hospice House Fredericton, or a charity of the donor's choice.
