We are sad to announce that on February 20, 2020, at the age of 96, James Niven Thorne (Oromocto, New Brunswick) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Butler Thorne and Alice Thorne (Tolley); and his brothers, William, Ernest and Walter.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Thorne (Chapman); his sons, Neil (Debbie), Nelson (Roberta) and Noel (Stacey); his grandchildren, Nickolas, Bradley, Samantha and Scott; and his sister Dorothy Farris. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Niven's memory can be made to the Diabetes Association or a charity of the donor's choice.
