It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irvine Leslie Bridges (Oromocto, New Brunswick), born in Fredericton, New Brunswick, who passed away on November 2, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Bridges and Bea Bridges; his siblings, Stuart Bridges and Marjorie Ward; and his sister-in-law Donna Bridges (McMonagle).
He is survived by: his wife Veronica "Bonnie" Bridges (London); his daughters, Suzanne Pomeroy (John) of Sheffield and Marilee Nixon (Troy) of Burlington, ON; his grandsons, Jackson Pomeroy (Kaitlyn Barrett) of Rusagonis, Wyatt Pomeroy of Sheffield, Daniel and Ben Nixon of Burlington; his sister Charlotte Upton (Stewart); and his brother-in-law Neil Ward. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of choice.
