It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Mary Yavis (Oromocto, New Brunswick), born in Brandon, Manitoba, who passed away on December 25, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Baran and Marcella Baran; her husband Christopher Yavis; her son Conrad Yavis; her son-in-law Ernie Romans; her granddaughters, Jacqueline Smith and Penny Park; and her great grandchild Rebecca Smith.

She is survived by: her children, Laura Smith (Blaine), Catherine Foster (Greg), Leslie Romans, Casey Yavis (Marjorie) and Lynn Park (Michael). She is also survived by great mother who loved her children and grandchildren.
