He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Hawkes and Mayme Hawkes (Hawkes). He is survived by: his wife Mary (Johnson); his sons, Andrew (Anna Marie), Richard (DeAnne), Nevil and Tom Desgroselliers (Shellie); his granddaughters, Madelyn and Georgia; and his siblings, Marjorie Brown (Phillip), Judi Desjardins (Ken), Wendy Russell (Ron) and Borden (Kelly).
Donations in Gerald's memory can be made to the Oromocto SPCA or to the charity of the donor's choice.
