He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Wheaton and Irene Wheaton. He is survived by: his wife Rosalind Wheaton; his children, Glynn, Garry and Melissa; his siblings, Clay, Lois and Gary; and his grandchildren, Megan, Brennan, Gareth, Gavin, Alex, Mal and Rosalind.
