He was predeceased by: his mother Winnifred Dykeman (Chapman); his former wife Gail (Young); his brother Percy Dykeman (Puddy); his father Percy Dykeman; and his pets, Brooks and Pepper.
He is survived by: his wife Joy (Snowball); his children, Michael (Daniela) of Ottawa, Lynda (Joseph) of Saint John and Chris (Michelle) of Halifax, NS; his grandchildren, Kahleah (Spencer), Kyle Nathan, Jacob Michael Cole, Michael, Megan and Morgan; and his brother Ernest Dykeman (Claire). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
