He was predeceased by: his parents, Joyce Thomas and Gordon Thomas; his son Michael Thomas; and his son-in-law Hugh Mallery. He is survived by: his wife Nadine "Deana" Thomas; his children, Frank Thomas (Kathy) of Alberta, Ann Holmwood (Scott) of New Brunswick and Shelley Mallery (Sean O'Neill) of New Brunswick; his grandchildren, Carrie Mallery-McLaughlin (Brendon), Robert Mallery (Sam) of New Brunswick, Alyssa, Stefan and Jordan Thomas of Alberta; and his great grandchildren, Faith, Constance, Akeyla, Gabrielle, Hazen, Isaiha, Acacia, Jocelynn, Hugh, Heiden and Jeremiah.
