Douglas Tibbs Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Tibbs (Oromocto, New Brunswick), born in Gander, Newfoundland, who passed away on May 10, 2020, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Alma Tibbs (Kelly); his stepmother Marlene Tibbs; and his siblings-in-law, Joan DiCarlo (Gautreau), Robert Gautreau (Bobby) and John Belleville.

He is survived by: his father Rupert Tibbs; his wife Pauline Tibbs (Gautreau); his stepchildren, Maynard Murray and Lisa Fairweather (Karen Green); his stepgrandchildren, Michael and Marissa Murray; his brother Harvey Tibbs (Jeannie); his siblings-in-law, Doreen Belleville, Paulette Poirier (Guy), Donna Leblanc (Aurel), Eric Gautreau, Richard DiCarlo and Leah Gautreau; and his friends, Buckie Paul and Jorge Serrano. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
