He was predeceased by: his spouse Barbara Lynn Sowers (Thorpe); and his parents, Basil Sowers and Mabel Sowers (Vail). He is survived by: his daughter Angie Cleven (Frank); his brother Marvin Sowers (Joy); and his mother-in-law Joyce Jones. He is also survived by his niece and nephew.
