He was predeceased by: his parent Harold Sanford; his son Mark; and his siblings, Keith Sanford, Marion Coolen, Dexter Sanford and Pearl Faulkner.
He is survived by: his parent Jennie Sanford (MacDonald); his wife Inez "Kay" Sanford (Bamford); his children, Cheryl Loeffler (Beau), Scott Sanford (Laura) and Jo Ellen Sanford (Roland Belliveau); his grandchildren, Serena Silliker (Robert), Andrew and Grayson; his great grandchild Ryker; and his siblings, Muriel "Dot" Berlemont, Donald Sanford, Clayton Sanford and Paul Sanford. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
For those who wish, donations in memory of Cliff made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Oromocto Baptist Church or charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
