We are sad to announce that on February 1, 2023, Carol Elizabeth Mitchell of Oromocto, New Brunswick passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Daniel Mahoney (Jack) and Elizabeth Mahoney (Reynolds) of Loch Katrine; her husband Ernest Mitchell; her former husbands, Sheldon Maling and Barrie MacLellan; her brothers, Stephen Mahoney and Johnny Mahoney; and her sister-in-law Mabel Mahoney.
She is survived by: her sons, Christopher MacLellan (Nancy) of Edmonton, AB, Craig MacLellan of Greenwood, NS and Derek Maling (Jennifer) of Lincoln, NB; her grandchildren, Sarah MacLellan, Emily Lang (Bailey), Jordan Philpott (Kurtis), Philip MacLellan, Jacob MacLellan, Brolin Maling, Caiden Maling and Ethan Maling; her brothers, Leith Mahoney, Terry Mahoney (Teresa) and Glen Mahoney (Ramona); her sisters-in-law, Marion Mahoney and Margaret Mahoney; and her stepchildren, Blake Mitchell, Cece Mitchell, Margie MacPherson (Lloyd), Deborah Anderson (Dean) and Donna-Lynn Provost (Chris).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Carol's name to Hospice House Fredericton.
