He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Chase and Edna Chase (Vail); his daughter Christa; his brother Arthur; his daughter-in-law Christine; and his half-sister Winnie Barton.

He is survived by: his wife Pauline Chase (Vail); his children, Mike Chase, Cyril Chase (Kathy), Bonnie Eaton (David) and Sylvia Kennedy (Alan); his grandchildren, Jessica Morton (Wayne), Krista Aubin (Dale), Katie Kennedy (Brendan), Meagan Eaton and Matthew Eaton; his great grandchildren, Kallie, Keira, Aida, Evelyn, Liam, Bryce and Malcolm; and his half-brother Archie Smith (Doreen).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made in Bruce's name to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
