He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Knowles and Mary Knowles (Scott); his wife Maritta Knowles (Stairs); and his siblings, Harry and Beryl.
He is survived by: his sons, David, Daniel (Colleen) and Troy (Ann); his grandchildren, Jordan, Daniel and Haley; his siblings, Preston (Elaine), Laurie (Dora Mae), Wanda (Syd), Darlene (late Ross), Debbie (Jim) and Diane (Stephen); his sister-in-law Kim; his aunts, Eleanor, Alda, Evelyn and Edna; and his uncle Milton. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
For those who wish, memorial tributes in Brian's honor may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation.
