He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrude Hurley and Ben Hurley; his siblings, Jerry Hurley, Bernadette Hurley, Elizabeth Toulouse, Deloris Scott and Maureen MacLeod; his wife Mary Alice Hurley (MacGillvary); and his granddaughter Jennifer Sullivan-Snow.
He is survived by: his sister Colleen Cathcart; his children, Bernie Hurley (Diane) and Mary Jane (late Mike); and his grandchildren, Damian Hurley, Taylor Hurley, Chad Sullivan (Kim), Aubrie, Lydia and Eli Sullivan.
In accordance with the church's policies attendees must wear masks.
While many would remember Bernie for his outstanding contributions to the military, his family are proud to call him dad and grandpa and they remember him as a caring, loving and selfless father and grandfather that he was.
