He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Hovey and Marguerite Hovey; and his brother Fred Hovey (Irene). He is survived by: his wife Ann Hovey of Oakland, NB; his children, David Hovey, Michael Hovey of Alberta, Todd Hovey and Lorraine Ross; his siblings, Glendon Hovey of Waterville, NB, Donna Hawkes (Lawrence) of Vancouver Island, BC and Wanda Black (Jack) of Oakland, NB; and his stepsons, Dale Vernall and Wallie Buchanan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
