It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eldon Comeau of Oak Point, New Brunswick, born in Miramichi, New Brunswick, who passed away on March 4, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Comeau and Eugenie Comeau (LeBreton); his wife Ella Comeau (King); and his siblings, Violet Estey, Margaret McLaughlin, James and Sterling Comeau.

He is survived by: his son Scott Comeau; his siblings, Anne Comeau (late Eric) of Miramichi, Carmel Galimore (Clive), Ruby Burke (late Gail) of Halifax, NS and Terry Comeau (Elizabeth); his grandson Michael Blakeley; and his faithful buddies, Edward Anderson, Bill Mills, George Bowie and David Bowie (Frances Connell). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
