He was predeceased by: his parents, Oakley Ross and Lylia Ross (McWilliam); his brother Thomas Ross; and his brother-in-law Bill Onion. He is survived by: his former wife Joan Ross (Oldfield); his children, Colleen (Lars Almen) of Moncton, NB, Kevin (Lainey) of Miramichi, NB and Kenneth (Sandra Comeau) of Oak Point, NB; his grandchildren, Kyle (Emma), Emily (Colton Hogan) and Mia Almen; his sister Joan Onion of Smith Falls, Ontario; and his sister-in-law Jacqueline Ross of Miramichi, NB. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
As expressions of sympathy, the family would appreciate donations made to the Miramichi Regional Hospital Foundation, Moorefield Cemetery, or a charity of the donor's choice.
