He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Howland and Dorothy Howland (Greenlaw); and his brother Benjamin Howland. He is survived by: his wife Anne; his children, Robert (Cynthia) and Cheryl Patterson; his grandchildren, Alyssa Patterson and Jacob Howland; his great grandchild Finley Howland; and his brother Jerry Howland. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as his bonus grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
